The Siren Doesn't Chase You. She Waits.

A certain type of loneliness can sometimes be heard as something like static noise, which is not the kind that famed vocalist Nikki Nouveau is drawing from. She sings the kind of loneliness that produces a low hum deep down below the water. Her most recent release titled Siren’s Dream is not an album that strives to be welcomed by fans; rather, it invites them to experience its sound while listening to the track at around 2am while leaving the window ajar.

Nouveau grew her career on various stages all over the world, performing in New York and Paris among different locations and mastering tango vocal techniques and jazz tunes. In contrast to her previous performances of hers, here she performs with no theatrical component and utilizes only her voice and reverberation.

The statue is not something new either. Her version of Thalassa Platia, the original Greek pop hit of Manos Hadjidakis has become part of the EP as if it is some reminiscence she does not want to lose.

Siren's Dream will be released on July 30. It is not a comeback. It is a case when the woman understands that she is already well acquainted with the ocean.
