Zadykhayus: NETSKII's Confession in Moscow's Concrete Winter
NETSKII reached a point of exhaustion in winter of 2025; it was difficult to continue on as he remembered being let down and disappointed in life over the years. The lines of Zadykhayus (“I am burning away to nothingness while you fly high”) convey that he has not been able to express his feelings through depression, loneliness, and pain these days. Last choice; never will be released.
A member of the Broadway Dreams Foundation, and creator of “Symphonic Russian Pop,” NETSKII develops his songs like a filmmaker develops suspense in movies. There is a heartbeat, a ticking clock, a prolonged moment of silence, then there is an orchestral explosion of glass breaking.
These are the moments he has created before, but not with as much significance and intensity as he does now. Each verse has little, if any, breathing space, while the choruses leave you with a decision to make; a fight or a walk away.
Created at the Moscow Songwriting Camp 2024 with Vladislav Tyutyunnik and poet Darya Shtykova, shaped by arranger Evgeny Binkevich, and polished by Sergey “Kamaz” Komar at Dark Side Records, the track carries the emotional voltage of Alekseev, Kodaline, HURTS, BLKVS, Sleeping At Last—yet sounds unmistakably his. Cinematic strings. Soft kick. A strained vocal that trembles, then erupts.
Signed to Druzhba Music after just two releases, NETSKII isn’t chasing noise. He’s building leverage. Remixing. Testing radio tempos. Preparing an EP, Zadykhayus – Reworked. The ash is still warm. The story is just beginning.
